Several years ago a friend’s daughter travelled to Greece as part of a high school tour. She wanted to learn some Greek before going but the books just weren’t working out for her so my friend asked me if I could help her out. I offered my help and what ultimately happened was that she, and her friends, emailed me with phrases they wanted to know in Greek and I put together my Greek Language web page.

I didn’t intend for it to be a permanent page, but I’ve received a bunch of emails from people thanking me for it. So I decided to keep it around. If you have any comments, please feel free to share.

I know some of this Greek isn’t text-book perfect — my mastery of the language is what I call “Grenglish”. I think it’s still useful.
